Ryan Murphy Says All Seasons of AMERICAN HORROR STORY Are Connected;

Season 5 Clue Featured in Episode 4 of
FREAK SHOW
Prior to American Horror Story: Freak Show, I
was under the impression that all seasons of
American Horror Story were standalone entities,
but then news surfaced that Naomi Grossman
was set to portray her Asylum character, Pepper,
in Freak Show as well. But even then, it just
could have been fun stunt casting. It certainly
made for a good story. However, Lily Rabe’s
casting last week was a game changer. Rabe is
also going to portray her Asylum character, Sister
Mary Eunice, in Freak Show for a storyline
chronicling how Pepper winds up making the
move from Elsa’ Cabinet of Curiosities to
Briarcliff.
And the season crossovers don’t stop there.
According to Ryan Murphy, Murder House,
Asylum, Coven and Freak Show are all connected.
