The Vampire Diaries Season 6 Episode 8

We don’t about you, but we’re complete suckers
for TV holiday specials. Everything is amplified.
The celebrations! The fashion! The drama!
Honestly, there’s nothing like seeing your favorite
characters come together to drink, eat and be
merry, Thus, when we found out The Vampire
Diaries episode 6×08 was Thanksgiving themed
we grew mega excited. So what can viewers from
“Fade Into You?” We can tease two things: a
promising plan goes horribly awry and some nice
folks sit down to a fancy meal.
That being said, scroll on down to preview new
footage from TVD Season 6 Episode 8!
In case you haven’t heard the awesome news,
Caroline and Elena are hosting “Friendsgiving”
dinner at their Whitmore dorm. So sweet, right?
Not quite, especially considering how they left an
important person off their guest list: Stefan
Salvatore! The poor guy has had to put up with a
lot of crap this year — what, with his Enzo killing
his girlfriend and his so-called pals not letting
him grieve his brother’s supposed death in peace.
But not letting him help himself to some turkey
stuffing and homemade pie? That’s just
downright rude.
Unlike us though, Alaric and Damon find the
entire situation rather amusing. During a road trip
to Portland to seek out the Gemini Coven and
track down an ascendant, they taunt Stefan
about Caroline’s huge crush on him. “Why don’t
you just date her and put us all out of our
misery?” asks Damon. “Because I don’t think of
her that way. She’s my friend,” Stefan snaps.
Watch as Alaric and Damon run through a list of
reasons as to why Caroline Forbes is excellent
girlfriend material!
Though we’re frustrated with Caroline for
excluding Stefan from the festivities just so she
can avoid an awkward run-in with him, we do
have plenty of other storylines to look forward to.
For example? First, Elena discovers that Bonnie
still alive, and her insanely happy reaction will
melt your heart. Second, seeing Damon take such
good care of Bonnie’s most prize possession, Ms.
Cuddles, is cuteness overload. And third? This
week’s ep is all about mythology — Kai’s and
Jo’s to be exact! We’ll be made privy to some
interesting details about their witchy family, and
finally learn the truth about Kai’s terrible past as
well as his morbid intentions. (Fact: The opening
sequence is straight-up scary, so make sure you
leave the lights on for the first few minutes.)

spoilers executive producers Julie Plec and
Caroline Dries revealed about this week’s ep!
